What's
new at JL Starlight Miniatures?
Sad
News
Solar Eclipse lost her filly under birth. We were there and it's
not sure why and
what happened. We are heartbroken but hope she'll give us another
beautiful foal next year.

Visitor
from the USA
Friday, June 27, I was lucky to have Joanne Ross from Scott Creek
Farm
visit our premises. It was fun to have her judge my horses and the
seminar
she held on the weekend at Paradise Ranch was good. We all learned
a lot. Joanne is very experienced
and knows everything about the miniature horse business. I'm looking
forward for her to come back soon.

Show
success
Our stallion
CS Royal Toros Silver And Gold was shown
in Aalten
after only three weeks of training. He placed 4th in open stallions
and 4th in
senior stallions and was the champion in the AMHA Showmanship class.
He was shown in his natural shape in pasture condition, without
body sweating.
From looking at the pictures, you would not believe that he measured
in at only 28,5 inch!

New
arrivals
My two new horses arrived late Friday night, as always transported
by the best: Divigo Stables.
Special thanks to Patricia for helping me out of the problems at
airport.
Enjoy the pictures! My new little filly is almost flying over the
pastures with her tail high up in the air.
She is so beautiful, you need to see her.

Congratulations
We bred Tracker to an outside mare last spring and this
is the result: A smokey black filly. Congratulations to Zøsser,
I know you enjoy your filly.

A new
addition
I am very proud to introduce my new mare. Katrina has been a broodmare
at
the famous Little King Farm for several years and has produced two
colts by the legendary Boones
Little Buckeroo that LKF is going to keep. Can you imagine to have
a mare in
the barn who has been bred to Buckeroo himself? Pure nostalgia!
She is pictured with her 2008
filly by Little Kings Buckeroo Buccarra, a direct Buckeroo son.
This filly will be for sale as she arrives in Europe.

Pictured below is one
of Katrina's sons by Buckeroo. Isn't he a real beauty?

In his
new home:
our new stallion Aloha Acres Henrys Splendor

My first
2008 foal!
The first of my 2008 foals is a beautiful, refined and very leggy
filly. She has a gorgeous
head and is already so sweet. I'm not 100% sure of her color, but
she is probably
silver dapple or silver bay. Her sire is Tracker
and her dam is Silver Star.
Sold to Sweden.

New
arrivals!
My two new horses arrived from the USA, and they are both beautiful.
Henry Splendor
is so refined and all I've ever dreamt off. It took me three years
to find
him but I am happy I waited. He is born to be a perfect herdsire
here at JL
Starlight Miniatures. Thanks to Lee Crutchfield for allowing me
to purchase this beautiful boy.
Solar Eclipse
is the most refined overo I have ever seen.
I do love the overos but they tend to have a little bigger head.
This girl, however,
has a tiny beautiful head. She is not heavy at all! I can't wait
until she gets her foal in the summer.

I am very proud
to introduce my new stallion at JL Starlight Miniatures.
I have been looking for a black pinto stallion like this for three
years and
when I saw this boy, I had not doubt he was my dream come true.
Here is Henry Splendor. His sire just sold for 45 000 Dollars. Splendor
will arrive here in 2008.

New
girls
We have purchased
two new girls who will join our mares herd soon, one of them
is pictured below, more information coming soon.

Thank
You
I want to thank all the people who purchased and inquired
about my horses this first year of my breeding.
I am very proud to have sold all horses without any problem.
It makes me think that Ireally have the quality I wish for.
The last two
girls left for their long trip to Germany.
They will have the best home ever with their new "father".
Take care of my two girls! I was in tears when they left.
Our
2007 foals are beginning to get into their new
homes
JL Starlight
Amazing Sundance is safe in her new home. I'm happy she
is with friends, so I can see her in the future. Congratulations
to Susan and Vita.
JL Starlight
Happy Attraction is heading to his new home in Sweden on November
10.
I know he will be loved a lot and I will sure miss his beautiful
little face and dark eyes.
Congratulations to Madeleine and Fredrik.
Several of our
mares are now vet checked in foal for 2008.
The mares are either bred to our own Center
of Attraction or
to a cremello Double Destiny son (pictured below).

In Memoriam
In memory of Tracker's dam, we would like
to put her
picture on our website as the beautiful mare she was.
May she rest in peace.

Last
2007 Foal
The last foal of this year has arrived ... and wow, what an end!
We got a refined
and leggy black pinto filly. But can she be more than marvelous
with these parents of hers!

Another
new arrival!
Our fourth foal is here: Coco foaled a tiny (17 inches) sorrel appaloosa
filly by Tracker.
The little girl was born solid, but she has mottled skin, so we
are certain that she'll color out.

Our
Third foal!
Our third 2007 foal is a beautiful sorrel appaloosa colt
with blue eyes.
His proud sire is Blue Chips Center of Attraction
(Tracker).
Here are the first pictures of the new arrival:

Second
foal is here!
Happy Hs Chantilly Lace foaled
a bay pinto colt by Blue Chips Center of Attraction
(Tracker).
The little boy has striped hooves, and, we think he might spot out
(like most of Tracker's foals) and eventually become a pintaloosa.
Here is the first picture of the new arrival:

First
foal has arrived!
We are proud to announce the birth of our first foal at
JL Starlight Miniatures.
Anastacia foaled a perfect little girl
- all by herself and without any problems.
They are both doing absolutely fine. Here is a first picture of
our new arrival:

This little
girl is offered for sale.

February
2007 Update
Our 2007 foals will soon start to arrive: We are expecting
our first foal in April
and we are very excited about it. Some of our foals will be for
sale, so check back on a regular basis.
We'd also like
to announce that Tracker was placed first in the high point system
of the
MHCE Europe for the class AMHA Senior Stallion. Tracker was awarded
a pretty silver plate by the MHCE
and we are very proud of him!
My two new girls
arrived safely from the USA. They were transported by Divigo Stables
and Dennis and
Patricia took good care of them for a few days. As always, they
did a perfect job.
The way the handle the horses while on transport and even after
they've arrived at their new home is
wonderful. They don't leave unless they are sure that the horses
are fine in their new barn. I'm always going
to use them for transport as they are the best ... and two wonderful
people aswell. I cannot thank
you enough for all you've done for me. Thanks guys!!

Daddy's
little girls!
The two fillies shown below are foals sired by our Blue
Chips Center of Attraction. These two girls were
foaled in the USA in 2006 ... and are becoming more and more beautiful
each day! We truly can't wait
for our own Tracker foals!

Michelle
and Coquina
We are proud to announce that the editor of the new miniature horse
magazine "Miniature Horse Showcase"
has picked several pictures of our daughter Michelle and our broodmare
Pepper Ridge Coquina to be shown
off in that new magazine. The pictures were taken when Michelle
and Coquina won their halter obstacle class
at a show in August 2006.

Welcome
to JL Starlight Miniatures!
We are happy to announce the addition of two wonderful little girls
to our herd. Lucky Four Andys Anastacia
(vet checked in foal to Glenn Stars Sun Dance) and Marks
Dominators Royal Chic (vet checked in foal to the Sids
Rebel son Lucky Four Rebels Chasin Rainbows) are scheduled to arrive
here in Denmark in November 2006.
We hope that everything will be fine on their long trip from the
USA, so that we can have two
wonderful babies next spring.

Show
in Denmark
We decided to take Tracker and Coquina
to the AMHA show in Horsens on August 5th. We showed both
in the AMHA only and in the open halter class and Tracker
came out 3rd and 4th in his classes,
Coquina took 4th and 5th in hers. Moreover,
Tracker placed 3rd out of 12 in his color
class and we
got a 3rd also in our very first showmanship class. The big success
of the day was though
that our little 4 year old daughter Michelle showed Coquina
in halter obstacle and the two of them did very well
and recieved the blue ribbon and a big trophy! Way to go, Michelle
and Coquina!

Show
News ...
We're back from our second AMHA show - this time, we drove to Bedburg-Hau
in Germany. We took again
our two yearling colts and our senior stallion. While the boys got
no ribbons this time, Tracker won a
2nd place in senior stallions and a 2nd place in the appaloosa color
class.

Back
from our first AMHA show!
We took our stallion, Blue Chips Center of
Attraction, and our two colts, CS Royal
Toros
Silver And Gold and Moritzbergs Thunder,
out to their first AMHA sanctioned show
on 24th and 25th June in Aalten. We are thrilled to report that
Tracker took a 1st place in
the appaloosa color class and a 3rd place in senior stallions. Silver
took a 3rd and Thunder took a
4th in yearling colts. I guess this is only the start of an exciting
show season for my boys and me.

First
clip job
Clipping young
horses after a long winter is like unwrapping Christmas presents
...
Here are pictures of our yearling colts after their first clip job
of the year ... and let me tell you: Were
we pleased with our "presents":

And
off to play again:

Arrival!
On April
20th and April 22nd, 2006, our horses from the USA have arrived
in Denmark and at
JL Starlight Miniatures. It was very exciting to see them arrive
after all this time and
we are thrilled about the wonderful horses that stepped off the
trailer. All of them are even
better than we had imagined them!
Below are some pictures of our new little ones settling into their
new home here at JL Starlight Miniatures ...
